Colonial Lodge Motel in Ararat Victoria gets a new website

We recently set up a new website for the Colonial Lodge Motel in Ararat Victoria using the BurgundySky CMS and web-hosting system.

Ararat Colonial Lodge Motel

This website uses an open template that allows you to do anything; set backgrounds, head images, widths, margins, etc. For some that’s a bit difficult, but it is good when you need to make something a little different.

Because it’s built with BurgundySky, the motel’s owner can add, change and delete web pages fairly easily. The style sheets control the look of the pages and if ever they decide to make a change to the style or template it will automatically update all the pages.

Colonial Lodge Motel is a Golden Chain Member and a customer for our Web Reservation Systems Online Booking Service. So, they get a complete package from us with a secure online booking facility – all at a discount because we have a Preferred Supplier agreement with Golden Chain.

If you need a new website – be it for a motel or any style of accommodation, please contact us for a quote. You’ll find our services are very reasonably priced and they provide you with a solution that gives you controls to self-manage your own website. Naturally, when asked we are willing to make changes for you.

Finally, getting your website found with search engines is always a trick. This page has been added to give this website an inbound link.

About Mark

Founder of Web Reservation Systems, focused on helping businesses in the Australian Accommodation travel sector get more value from Internet Marketing. Originally, we opened up in 2001 as a supplier of Front Office Software linked to Online Booking facilities. That allowed motels and hotels to add booking buttons to their websites as well as sell through Global Distribution Systems. You could say this was an early 'Channel Manager' because it allowed the property manager to simply control price and availability for a diverse array of wholesale and retails websites. Next, we started building websites to profile our customers (Australian Holiday Guide). That lead to building websites for customers as a favour. Now do about 80 websites a year using BurgundySky and Joomla. For small businesses I recommend using BurgundySky as it is very easy to start and manage. Joomla is also great, but harder to install and maintain for a small business. Our web design business is based in Byron Bay, NSW. Byron Bay is a great place to live and work. I have 2 kids (15 and 17) who are both born here and my wife, Shobhan Oliver) is a successful artist.
