Amazing as it may seem, word on the street is that Groupon has rejected Google’s offer of $5+ Billion. While they are a private company and need not report their revenues it is said they are doing about $2 billion in annual sales, which means the offer from Google may be undervalued if you can believe that. Amazing as the company was started in 2008. Well done boys!

I just got an HTC Wildfire Android phone and I’m finding the battery life is at least as good as my last phone. It only takes a couple of hours to charge and there is a green light to tell me when I can unplug it. Then it goes for two days without needing to be charged again.

Someone just told me about the Advanced Task Killer App to turn off apps when I’m not using them so that should extend my battery life even more.
